Jinpukaku, a white-walled French renaissance style building located at the Tottori Castle Remains is one of the most famous examples of Meiji-era architecture in the Chugoku region, and is also designated an important cultural property. Jinpukaku is a popular place to take photographs because of its beauty, while nearby Kyusho Park was selected as one of the 100 best places in Japan to view cherry blossoms in the spring. The park is also a favorite destination for visitors in the autumn for its dazzling fall foliage.
