Oku-Iya Double Vine Bridges

The Heike clan is said to have built the double vine bridges to access their riding ground about 800 years ago, using "shirakuchikazura" vines that grow naturally in the high mountains. The two bridges, the "Male Bridge" and the "Female Bridge" are sometimes called the "Wedded Bridges."
