Ochiai Shuraku
The important preservation district of historic buildings designated by the state. Private houses and stone walls built on the slope from the mid-Edo period to the Meiji period have the high historical value with their unique ingenuities. The district is the mountain village on the steepest slope among those designated for preservation.
