Uradome Coast

The Uradome Coast, located within San’in Kaigan Geopark, is a rias coastline extending along the coast of the town of Iwami from Kugamimisaki to Shichiyama. The rough cliffs, bluffs, caves and oddly-shaped rocks carved out by the waves and snowstorms of the Sea of Japan are a splendid contrast to the white sand beaches and pine trees surrounded by the clear sea and the cape. Here you can experience the charm of the Uradome Coast by taking an island boat tour, and enjoy marine sports such as sea kayaking and snorkeling.
