Built in 1835, this is Japan's oldest theater.

The Shikoku Konpira Kabuki Oshibai is a kabuki theater performance put on at the "Kanamaru-za." Starting in 1985, it is something that heralds spring in Shikoku and many kabuki fans from around Japan come to see it. All stage equipment is hand-operated, preserving the authentic Edo period atmosphere for the present time.
