Located next to the Oyamazumi Shrine, the Omishima Museum of Art is an art museum with an exterior that leaves a lasting impression due to the contrast between the natural greenery surrounding and its white walls.

Inside, almost Japanese 1,000 works of art are exhibited. The interior wallpaper is all made with stretched wagami Japanese paper, creating an enjoyable space where the exhibited works are in harmony with their surroundings.

In addition, Omishima has four other art museums, the Tokoro Museum Omishima, Toyo Ito Museum of Architecture, Ken Iwata Mother and Child Museum, and the Murakami Santo Memorial Hall. Purchasing a package ticket that includes admission to all these museums is an affordable way to enjoy all this art.
