Iwami Kagura Traditional Dance
Iwami Kagura is a traditional performing art of western Shimane Prefecture which has been passed down since ancient times. It is known for luxurious and gorgeous costumes, masks with vivid expressions, and high tempo dynamic dances. The stories are also easy to understand, making this performing art enjoyable by all, including foreign visitors.
Performances can be viewed mainly on the weekends without a reservation.
