Tobeyaki is pottery characterized by deep blue painted designs on fairly thick white porcelain. Its beautiful designs are prized in Japan and overseas. Visitors to Tobeyaki Togeikan can purchase ceramic ware and experience making their own creations on a potter's wheel and then painting them. Tobeyaki Togeikan also puts on display a wide range of other traditional Ehime craftworks in addition to Tobeyaki.
