Ozu Castle
Ozu Castle is famous as a castle that was restored to its true 14th century design based on historical materials. Documents and other literature showing the process of the restoration work are exhibited within the castle, and visitors are offered a commanding view of Ozu from the top floor. Also popular with visitors is the opportunity to try on suits of armor and take in a matchlock rifle firing demonstration. The castle is also known for its magnificent cherry blossoms, and some 200 cherry trees color Ozu Castle in pale rose from late March to early April.
